Guest Speaker Keith Wheeler

Recently the IMT students sat down with Keith Wheeler, a missionary who has carried a cross all over the world.  Keith is the original architect of the IMT program and it’s first Director so it was an incredible experience to learn from him.  Keith spoke to the us about what it means to deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Jesus.  Together we talked about Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.  And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me”.  Keith said “the cross is the ultimate source of self-denial and the place of ultimate trust”.  We must learn to trust in the Lord so deeply that our genuine prayer becomes, like John the Baptist’s, “He must increase and I must decrease”.  We are grateful to Keith Wheeler for devoting time to not only teach us, but to prepare us for the upcoming “IMT Faithwalk”…
